Laundry dryer sheets..

Has anyone noticed that dryer sheets for laundry do not smell as strong as they used to?  I have noticed that for about a year now.  My clothes come out of the dryer with a very faint scent "if any" of the dryer sheets.  This is so disappointing knowing how much money these stores are charging.  I have tried every brand, Downy, Bounce, Snuggle.  Wondering if they have changed the formula in the product.
